How we roll up companies and software
Same four steps in every quadrant. Software hangs under the company that owns it. We do not invent a dollar rollup.
Finance rollup: payment hub, terminal, ledger, and family-office companies. Their catalog SKUs (API keys, terminal seats, close packs) hang under those companies.
- 1. Tag the company Every operating company gets one primary sector on the company map: Finance, Ecommerce or Retail, Technology, or Media. That sector is the only key that puts it in a quadrant.
- 2. Collapse aliases Rows that share the same public domain count as one company. Catalog aliases (same CRM under three slugs) do not inflate the rollup.
- 3. Attach software Software is the sellable catalog SKU on that company, plus the app folder and named API surfaces on the map. A company can own many software lines.
- 4. Sum the tree Quadrant total = distinct companies + software lines under them. Shared tools in another sector stay there. We do not invent revenue to force a rollup.
